How we quarrel

The four habits by which Gottman predicted a couple would break up — criticism, contempt, defensiveness and stonewalling — and the fifth that pulls it all back: being able to repair a conversation as it happens.

1.In a quarrel I start with "you always" or "you never"

2.I talk not about the act but about what kind of person my partner is
